Day 12!

I completed more of my IRI today! It went well.

I asked a little boy what he put in his backpack and he responded, "It's a gold slip duh!" And I was so shocked! Luckily Mrs. Fouts heard this and told him he cannot talk to a teacher that way! She also made him move himself from green to red. He started to cry. She took a long time talking to him. Before Brittany and I left for IRIs, she asked him to apologize to me. She said it with him and made him look at me. I told him that I accepted his apology and we forgot about it the rest of the day.

There is a lot of crying that goes on in Kindergarten...

  1. I commend you. I would have a hard trying to approach a student who is crying and help them, but at least once the apology was said, he was able to finish out the rest of his day just fine. Major props!
